My Latest Cake(s)

I created a pink castle cake, along with the crown below for a friend's niece.
I wasn't happy with the castle. But the crown looks decent!

I first created this baby carriage cake for my best friend's baby shower. I've made it several times since then. Once it was even purple!
















When I needed a cake for a BOY baby shower, the carriage just didn't seem right. So I came up with this "onesie".

Apparently, I draw better on icing than I do on paper! I drew the design with decorating gel and filled it in with gel, too. It's almost impossible to make really red icing.

I made this butterfly for a little girl's first birthday. She had her own little butterfly cake to eat!

For her second birthday, she wanted a cow cake. Mooooo!

I made this Chicken little cake for a birthday party shortly after the movie came out several years ago. It was huge and took a loooong time!

Sometimes I have to do research to make a cake for someone. I have friends whose son always wants something different. Here are two characters that I was totally unfamiliar with until I needed to make a cake!
